Suzie Clifton Owner/Operator
Born and raised in southern Alberta, Suzie has always had a interest in new home construction and building design. While raising a family along with husband, Jason, Suzie started her humble beginnings self-employed in photography and marketing. In 2009, Suzie started her career as New Home Energy Specialist and completed hundreds of New and Existing Homes EnerGuide Energy Evaluations, including ENERGY STAR® for New Homes. Suzie now holds licenses as a Registered Energy Advisor (REA), Murb EA, ENERGY STAR® for New Homes, CHBA Net ZERO Energy Advisor, Built Green and Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS). Suzie also specialized in the BC Energy Step Code and Alberta NBC 9.36 Code Compliance. |
Jason Clifton REA/Communitcations
ENERGY STAR for New Homes, B.E. Sc, B.E. Ed, Masters of Education Born and raised in Calgary, Jason started his Energy Advising career in 2007 during the launch or the Federal Eco Energy Program, while studying at the University of Lethbridge to become a Teacher. Jason has an extensive background in building science and new home construction. Jason has completed over a thousand EnerGuide Energy Audits, including Retrofit EnerGuide, New Home and ENERGY STAR® for New Homes. |
Dean Cockshutt REA
Registered Energy Advisor, B.E.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Level 1 Power Engineer Dean has 30 plus years of energy technology experience starting as a drilling rig roughneck and finishing as a vice president of a major oil and gas company where he specialized in underground natural gas storage engineering. Interestingly, the same technology is now being used for CO2 sequestration. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a SAIT power engineering diploma. Dean is quite active in his community with many years experience grooming mountain bike and ski trails in West Bragg Creek. He lives an active, healthy lifestyle with many pursuits including restoring vintage motorcycles, snowboarding, mountain biking, archery and music. |
