EnerGuide for New Homes

Green Wave Consultants supports home builders in their navigation of the EnerGuide Rating System. We are committed to help discover cost-effective ways on improving homes' efficiency and energy performance.

Natrual Resourcees Canada (NRCan) EnerGuide Rating System is used to help homebuilders evaluate their house plans for energy performance and provide energy-efficient upgrades. 

Our team at Green Wave will evaluate house plans through an energy simulation software to estimate energy consumption and the homes energy performance. We then develop cost-effective energy efficient upgrades that may be incorporated into the design. Upon completion of the home, our Energy Advisors will conduct a on-site visit to verify components and perform a  blower door test. The simulation software with then be updated to reflect the actual performance and an EnerGuide label and reports printed.
